Terms & Conditions

Blindly ("we", "us", "our") provides custom window blinds, shutters, and related products through its website and in-person consultations. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Blindly and any individual, business, or entity ("the Customer", "you", "your") that purchases products or services from Blindly.

By placing an order — whether through our website, via email, or in person — you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Orders and Acceptance

2.1 An Order is confirmed once the Customer accepts a Quote and makes the required deposit payment.

2.2 All Products are custom-made to the Customer's specifications. Once an Order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or modified.

2.3 Blindly reserves the right to decline any Order at its sole discretion.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT at the applicable rate.

3.2 Full payment is required at the time of checkout to confirm an Order.

3.3 Prices quoted are valid for seven (7) days unless otherwise stated.

3.4 Third-party costs such as extended delivery distances or specialised installation requirements will be quoted separately.

4. Measurements

4.1 Customers who provide their own measurements are responsible for the accuracy of those measurements. Blindly accepts no liability for Products manufactured to incorrect customer-supplied measurements.

4.2 Blindly offers a professional measurement service. Where Blindly takes the measurements, we warrant their accuracy and will rectify any errors at our cost.

5. Delivery and Installation

5.1 Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to supplier lead times, stock availability, or other factors beyond our control.

5.2 Professional installation is available at an additional cost as quoted. Installation includes fitting of blinds and removal of packaging.

5.3 The Customer must ensure that the installation area is accessible and clear of obstructions on the agreed installation date.

6. Warranty

6.1 All Products carry a manufacturer's warranty as specified at the time of purchase. Warranty periods vary by product type and manufacturer.

6.2 The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear.

6.3 Warranty claims must be reported to Blindly within the warranty period with photographs and a description of the defect.

7. Returns and Refunds

7.1 As all Products are custom-made to order, returns and refunds are not available unless the Product is materially defective or does not match the confirmed Order specifications.

7.2 Where a Product is defective, Blindly will repair or replace the Product at no additional cost to the Customer.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Blindly's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total price paid by the Customer for the specific Order giving rise to the claim.

8.2 Blindly shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

9. Privacy

9.1 Blindly processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and our Privacy Policy, available at blindly.co.za/privacy.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

10.2 Any dispute shall first be referred to good faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, either party may refer the matter to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

11.1 Blindly may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published at blindly.co.za/terms.
